Manufacturer Guidelines

Place the setup in an area that can withstand wetness, moisture, and condensation so you do not risk water damage.

Ambient temperatures, insulation, and sun exposure will affect performance. Reducing external heat load will help maintain colder water temperatures more consistently.

The pump is not self-priming. Your setup needs to gravity prime to the pump for proper operation.

Place the chiller within 3′ of the drain of your tub whenever possible.

The bottom of the chiller should be at the same height or lower than the bottom of your tub.

Do not elevate the chiller above the tub.

The Cold Therapy Chiller is designed for outdoor use in all weather conditions except freezing temperatures.

Disconnect and drain the chiller completely if ambient temperatures drop to freezing or below to prevent damage.

The pump should run continuously, and the filter should be kept clean for proper temperature monitoring and operation.

Using a timer is not recommended, as frequent power cycling may increase maintenance and wear on the pump over time.
